Privacy Policy

Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), company details, role and workspace membership.

Fleet and operational data you enter or import: vehicles, trips, mileage readings, revenue and expenses, tolls and violations, maintenance records, supplies, tasks and notes.

Documents you upload, including insurance, registration and receipts, together with any data extracted from them.

GPS and telematics data when tracking is active: location, trip start and end, speed, ignition state, battery, malfunction indicators, diagnostic codes and tracker odometer readings.

Billing information: plan, subscription status, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.

Technical information: log data, device and browser information, and error reports used to keep the service working.

To provide the platform: run your workspace, produce reports, deliver alerts, process orders and manage subscriptions.

To send service communications you cannot opt out of while your account is active: payment failures, subscription and ownership changes, security events and order confirmations.

To send optional marketing about products, promotions and new features — only if you opted in. You can withdraw consent at any time.

To support you, investigate problems, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We record the policy version, the user and the timestamp when you accept the Terms and this Privacy Policy, and separately when a GPS consent is given for a vehicle. These records exist so we can show what was agreed and when.

Each company workspace is isolated at the database level. Data is only visible to users of that workspace with the appropriate role, and to authorized BoostHost staff when required for support, security or billing.

Uploaded documents are private by default and served only to authorized users of the owning workspace.

We share data with processors that make the platform work: cloud hosting and database, email delivery, payment processing and telematics providers you or we connect on your behalf.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data when required by law or to protect rights, safety or the integrity of the platform.

Location data is collected only for vehicles with an active tracker connected to your workspace, and only while the connection is active.

The account activating tracking confirms it has lawful authority over the vehicle and is responsible for notifying drivers where the law requires it.

Historical location and trip records are retained for reporting and are removed with the workspace when the account is deleted, unless retention is legally required.

We keep data while your account is active. After deletion we remove workspace data, keeping only records we must retain — such as invoices, payment history and audit records — for legal and accounting purposes.

You can access and correct most information directly in the app.

From Settings → Privacy & Data you can request an export of your data, ask a privacy question, manage marketing preferences and request account deletion. We respond to requests within a reasonable time.

We use encrypted transport, row-level access rules, role-based permissions, audit logging and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure; keep your credentials protected and use strong passwords.

BoostHost is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

This policy is versioned. The current version and effective date appear at the top of this page. Material changes trigger renewed acceptance at next sign-in.
